Sorry to say but the questions actually can come only from the Finnish fans and YleX don't bother to read questions in another language!
So that thing with the question's was for Finnish fans only,let's give them this oportunity,no ofense no nobody here but The Rasmus actually didn't do anything for their fans there this year!So I think they deserve it!

Here are some facts that he said there:

-he was talking about the Live DVD,that all the material was taken by Eero from backstage and gig’s

-he said that October & April is the same as the song Don’t shut the door(and old The Rasmus song) and that the idea came to his mind about 12 years ago,he ask first Tarja to sing with him the duet but she said no and after that he ask Anette and she said yes,she is also a The Rasmus fan too :D

-the video for October & April is almost ready for being released

-on radio X3M he was aksed which was the last gig that he has been to and he answer that the last gig was on 3.10 at the PMMP with his son :D

Hello folks!

I made this little recap of what Lauri said this morning (October 9, 2009) in the two interviews, so here we go:

- the interview at YleX Aamu started by looking back to early June when Lauri was supposed to be there with Aki, but had dislocated the shoulder in the skateboarding accident a night before. Lauri told details about the accident, and how the shoulder surprisingly went back to its place by itself at the hospital right before he was about to be anesthetized, so it went well and the painkillers took care of the rest.

- October & April was born about 12 years ago in the basement of Pauli's mother (the basement used to be their rehearsal place). Demo song Don't Shut The Door was a parody of the boybands of the 90's, with deliberately cheesy lyrics

- the lyrics were re-written, strings added, and the overall tone changed to more serious, resulting in the song October & April.

- Don't Shut The Door may be released on the internet in the future if Lauri finds it in his archives.

- Prior to recording October & April, Lauri first made a phonecall to Tuomas Holopainen (Nightwish) and asked for his permission to call Anette. It was totally fine for Tuomas, saying "Please feel free to call, Anette is a big fan of yours".

- Lauri called Anette, and her response was "Awesome, of course I want to come and sing it"

- Anette had fond memories about The Rasmus: she used to sing their songs in karaoke in Sweden two years prior to joining Nightwish.

- the video for the song is now complete, and Lauri saw and approved it yesterday. It will be released "probably soon"

- the lyrics for the song were written during Hide From The Sun, and Lauri said O&A wasn't released on Black Roses because the song represented a different era.

- Lauri had asked Tarja Turunen for this duet five years ago, but Tarja said "no", as she was busy with other duties

- a fan from Lithuania had sent in a question about possible release of a live-DVD in the future, but Lauri didn't know when it will happen

- fans from all over the world had sent in questions, and Lauri was asked when the next world-tour will take place. He said, that he doesn't have any idea when it will happen. The band will "take it easy" until the end of 2009, at least.

- Later this month Lauri will travel to Singapore for two weeks to meet Pauli. They both have been busy with writing songs for the next album, using Skype daily in interacting with each other. In Singapore they will put together their ideas for the next album

- so far they have made approximately 40 songs, and hope to start recording some of them at their Dynasty Recordings studio in Helsinki later this year

- on radio X3M Lauri also told, that even though The Rasmus is currently on hiatus, he will have a "gig" though: PMMP will be performing in Tampere tonight (October 9), and Lauri will be there babysitting his son.

it was nice to finally hear something from them themselves and not only from the newspapers .

he was really lucky with his skateboard accident that's true.

It would be so nice if he would find Don't shut the door and would be published, i'd so like to hear the song in a better quality than the one we have.

40 songs is a lot and i was about to faint when i heard they have so much and hope that they won't include just 10 on the album but at least 13-14 songs, and some on B-sides too so we can hear more of them
i'm curious of who will be their producer with this album, but would be nice if they would be producers for themselves.

it's lovely he goes on tour with PMMP to take care of his son. He does that (going to PMMP gigs) pretty often recently

Yeah, pillango, it's funny to see him around. xD Well, I wish so bad to see PMMP soon... But I guess it'll be not before next year.

He wanna release Don't Shut The Door? XD Doesn't he know there's a radio record of it? Well, but maybe they did record a PROPER version of it - now THAT's going to be very interesting. :D

Gna, hope for them to release the next album with MORE than 10 friggin' songs outta those 40 they already made. They always claim hooow many songs they did and later put only 10 songs on their album - they cannot tell me, that ONLY 10 are good enough to be on the record and IF, then they gotta sit down and write some more songs WHICH are good enough to be on the album, hell...
I'm tired of this 10-song-limit. XD

And don't ya dare to release 100 versions with one bonus song on each, guys. XD Gotta send Yuan-sama after you, he'll give you a friggin' Lightning Blade. XD Oh dear, I really should stop playing Tales of Symphonia. XD *yuan-chaaan*
