Hey folkes, just returned from the Finnish threesome concert in Böblingen...well, what can we (the Berlin crew 2005: Jenny, Pirun, Caro and me) say? It was really damn good
First to appear on stage was Pauli, followed by darling Eero and Aki Of course starting with Night after Night and Lauri ran on stage, without a cap or anything, he had feathers in his hair!!!
They were so great *grin* All of them were in a really good mood and rocking us like the devils, Lauri's Mic thingie dropped off once and he had to go towards the back of the stage to have it fixed; Lauri bumped into Pauli full run once, Eero swapped his bass twice, and Aki was just cool
In Immortal when Eero was singing he climped up onto the speakers behind him and sat there, waving towards us and grinning around.
Eero's singing was simply beautiful, really gorgeous, I could have SO hugged him! And the best thing was actually us shouting "Dynasty" and Eero then: "Dynasty forever!"
The guessed setlist (we just know these songs were played, no garantee on the order
Into-Dancer in the Dark
Night after Night
Lucifer's Angel
Guilty
Shot
Keep your heart broken
Still Standing
First day of my life
Last Generation
Immortal
Sail Away
Funeral Song (with hardly any drums but really great, and "Eero the strings" again better than ever!!!)
In my life
No Fear
In the shadows
So, as you see, no Don't let go today Which was a queer feeling because ITS started and I thought: Oh ok, after this they'll play Don't let go and that's the end then...but no, it was straight after ITS.
To imagine what the crowd was like: we were rocking like mad, and thank god I'd apologized for stepping on other people's feet when jumping before we did anything because after some comments of the other fans I would have refused to do so...well, still polite, one guy said something like: "Goood this bird up there..." I just turned round and said: "Yeah, fucking great bird!" and grinned at him (he seemed confused after that)
Otherwise: the guys looked really happy and were having a lot of fun on stage and we with them of course
Oh yes, by the way, there were two other bands there too (nearly forgot)
Negative had a queer sound but they were quite good (though they had been better last year, I thought), the just played "Naive" twice, we don't really know why...
Ooooh, Jonne (who has dreads, by the way ) had a hole in his trousers which grew steadily...
After Rasmus we went out of the horrible crowd - really, the pushing to go in was ok, fairly harmless, but inside it was a horror. We were in 7th-4th row mostly and we had not a single bit of space to do anything. Some time after I was squashed for ages between two kissing couples (they were big ) I just started jumping to a)get air and b) get moved a bit but we still rocked and we all loved it _________________ Three blind mice, three blind mice

No, they didn't play anything together, we were waiting only for that after TR actually...but nothing
Erm, Him... well, first thing we did after Rasmus was go out and have a drink, we stayed outside quite a while and just went back in when Join me started...yeah, Valo could have stood on a coin Except for when he was walking 4 steps to the back to drink out of one of the many beer? -or something else- bottles (~10) there and then walked back to his mic. His voice was ok but the sound was really bad compared to Rasmus, we thought. Otherwise, as we were watching from a nice comfy seat overlooking everything and constantly swelging in Rasmus gig blues was real fun! Actually we were half falling asleep (except when we saw: Valo moved! - it was really a contrast, Lauri racing all over the stage all the time and Valo stuck on the one spot, smoking or every now and again the four steps back towards the beer) and the only words we could understand when Valo was talking for a few minutes was something like thanking Rasmus and Negative, which was the only moment with him on stage where we actually screamed like mad just to make sure everybody notices there are 5 Rasmus fans on one spot there
We think the him fans in first row must have been really dissapointed if they weren't right in the middle -standing in first row and the singer never nearer than 15m distance
And just to analyse that article from the Austrian Express where Valo said the first thing he'd do with Rasmus was a)take them to the hairdressers, b)make the guitars louder, c)sing lower octaves - he demolished that all tonight by a)wearing a cap and the hair of his colleagues weren't any better b)him guitars were probably even more quiet than the Rasmus' guitar and c)Valo sang damn high (and Eero and Lauri do it much better )
Sorry if somebody liking him reads this but it was just good to see that article was more than crap and no word anywhere near true _________________ Three blind mice, three blind mice

As I know Ville has flu and he promised not to smog and dring to much whiskey so maybe this is the reason for so bad singing _________________ www.myspace.com/alienka

Yay!, love him with just his hair and nothing else.
I HAVE to hear Eero sing whenever I see them some day.
Thanks for the review guys! _________________ I have this day to use as I will.

Thanks for the review Theresa, sounds like a great gig again, apart from the pushing and stuff... Why people why
And Eero doing the strings again during Funeral Song? That was awesome _________________

Poser, nothing but a poser ^^
I don't like that guy.
Looks like this gig has been better than the one in Essen?
Great to hear _________________

I wish I could go again too
Eero's singing was really really beautiful...I have no clue what he did with his voice, but it's even better than last year and I thought he couldn't top it...
We actually started singing Heart of misery sometime...but that was when him were playing then
@Mudstone: I don't know...I thought pushing at Rasmus gigs was hard enoug often but that was far worse. Great problem was also that there are so many tall people, many guys were there and there's no way you can see anything most of the time - so naturally you'd be jumping to see at least something, but if you hardly have room to jump it's not quite ideal. Still, Rasmus rocked
Amazingly enough nearly everybody was singing the Dead Letters songs, No Fear and Sail Away...that most of all, it was really great _________________ Three blind mice, three blind mice
