I´ve been to the concert in Bochum, it was so awesome. The sound was great but the atmosphere was better although it was -2°C outside. The band played almost all songs from Hide from the sun combined with many songs from Dead letters and some older ones. The band that played before them was also very good but i didn´t hear their name. if anyone knows please send me. There were many papers with messages for the band in finish including "Pauli please spank me", and "Smile you are in Bochum". Could you believe how great was the demand for the tickets. There were so many people waiting after the concert by the bus. I think that it wouldn´t be so hard for the band to come out from backstage and sign some pictures or so, it wouldn´t take that long and people would be very pleased. All in all it payed off to come all the way from Croatia just to see the show.

Well,what shall I say?

Before the show there was -as usual- "normal" music playing, but the last 2 songs or so we listened to "happy x-mas" and "jingle bells".

then the christmas music was suddenly stopped and the intro of dancer in the dark began.

it happened very quickly, made me quite exited.

And yeah, outside it was very cold, i don't exactly know the temperature in degrees,
but it was extremely cold.

I think over 1 hour before "open doors" the crowd began already to stand very close to each other ,so at least it got a little bit warmer.

in the afternoon,Aki just went along the entrance and all the people who were already waiting there, said "morning".
(before that also Pauli appeared somewhere there or near the tourbus,as I hear).

Later on also Lauri was seen ,but not so close to the entrance.

I was there too :D
But I can't say anything about Deep Insight, cause i actually missed them..:(
That was at first because of all the traffic jams in holland and in germany and we even got stuck in essen & bochum for some time. So the whole journey took us 4 hours, it sould have been only 2 hours..

But well, we did managed to find it, so that was good Smile When we got there we just run to the entrance and I could just walk in, cause my name was on the questlist, thanks to katja ;)
After a lil search I saw Katja and Andrea and joined them. They told me I JUST missed deep insight...So it seems you really can't have it all.

So after some christmassongs the intro started and TR entered the stage. the first song was night after night, then it was time for first day of my life. I must say the "older" songs felt a bit better, but also the newer ones were great.

The highlights for me were guilty and no fear, those songs sounds so good live Smile

The accoustic set was chill, days & funeral song. And at the end we even got a part of rakkauslaulu Smile

At the beginning it seemed the guys were not in their best mood, but during the concert it was getting better and better and lauri even smiled.

After the gig I got to meet the guys of Deep Insight, they were really nice...uhmm and sweet yes Razz And I realised it was a shame a missed them, but wel...maybe some other time!

Bochum was sooooo great.
As we arrived at "Zeche" there were anniki and nemi...
We talked a bit till some other girls came.
It was so cold and I was freezing all the time... sucks a little bit, but what would I do for this band? xD
It was very cool because there weren't so much people at all... hehe ^^
Suddenly my friend Nadine said: "Look... isn't it Eero?"
Yes, it was Eero. *hehe*
Very cool really... he walked to the tourbus.
And everybody was going to the bus... it was so embrassing... -.-
We sat on the floor and waited... and waited... and waited...
After a while our "mummy" came and brought us hot tea... *yummie*
Then Pauli came out of the tourbus and the girls ran to see him... poor guy!
I was standing on my place... ^^ because I hate it to look like a screamie... or sth like that...
Pauli disappeared very soon...
Hours later ago... Lauri came out of the bus and he seemed to be on the phone... some girls recognized him and ran after him. Bloody Idiots!
Lauri took one his heels and ran in the venue. Poor, poor Lauri...!
I couldn't believe it.... why can't they leave him alone... ?!?!

The entrance was sooo ... I don't know... silly... or sth like that...
Everybody was pushing and I was pressed onto the door...
But I came in the first row and everything was okay... hehe =)))
Was standing in front of Lauri... ^^

The concert was really great... Lauri on the bass... Eero sang Rakkauslaulu in german...
And I got Akis drumstick... *jumping*

Thanks to anniki and nemi... it was so nice to be with you ^^

Thank god you made it in time for TR, hunee! Would have felt terrible to be there without you. Huggle Guestlist...yeah! Wink ASG

Have to agree on that. I have seen them in better shape.
At the beginnig I was thinking: "Where´s the great spirit gone?" Crying or Very sad No smiles, no funny jokes by Eero and Aki and Pauli were even yawning! Yes, we did see it, guys! Don't! ASG Must have been a loooong and crazy party the night before. Wink But as Tessa said, it was getting better during the show. They must be really tired after being on the road for so long already.

My highlight: when they came back for the encore and introduced their new singer named HORST (aka Eero) to us! This was just priceless! (though I personally only associate bad things with that name) ASG

Huge thanx to Tessa and friend (yeah sorry, already forgot your name. Shame on me! Embarassed ), Dani and Bine! Was sooo nice to meet you again! Teamwork

Lauri promised Pauli would spank White Rum (whose sign it was) after the show but he didn't. Typical men, never keep their promises!

Can't add much, cos I was on the tshirts and missed most of it. lol.

It was bloody cold outside though.

I went out drinking til 4.30am, my head hurts.

That must have been the A40. It's the biggest "parking area" in Germany. The whole A40 is one big traffic jam.

I'm going to write something about the gig as soon as I start getting back to normal from Love 1 Embarassed

Sorry jeffi I don't have pics either..
I was with Tezzatjuh so read her post and you''ll see my story Wink (about the traficjams and the times we got lost and so on)

But the show was great! I liked the show in Amsterdam a bit more though the band was now having more contact with the audience..

After the show I talked with Deep Insight again and that was great just like it was in Amsterdam! Cool Laughing

What a fun gig!

At first I never thought I was going to make it there before the encores since I had so much to do that day but after rushing through the whole day like a maniac I got to the venue just 2 minutes before the doors opened, which were actually opening much later than planned as if they had been waiting for me. Cool But the next thing I realized: Shocked Sooo many people and my claustrophobia starts messing with me already. So I was just saying to my friend pitch “Maybe we should get back here when everybody is already inside.” when suddenly the door opened and people who had come shortly after us started pushing already. There I was again, stuck in the middle of the madness, which I was trying to avoid. But there again I got pushed into the venue within 10 minutes time so I could breathe again and find myself a nice spot in the back. We had a great place on the stairs in the back of the venue where you could see everything since the venue isn’t that big and there was absolutely no pushing because everybody had his own step to stand on. So after this short moment of panic I really had a great night all the way through.

I’m afraid to say that some things didn’t go too well for the band that night. Maybe there wasn’t enough concentration anymore after playing so many gigs in a row. But it all didn’t really matter to the audience, which kept rocking along to every song. I was dancing and waving and singing like crazy because I was so happy about having made it in time. I didn’t have any time to make a new sign for this gig so I had just brought the “my heero” sign again. But I guess it was too tiny to be seen all the way to the back. I held it up anyway though. Cool

I got really excited when Lauri (yes, Lauri) got back on stage for the encore with Eero’s bass. I was hoping that meant Eero would be singing Rakkauslaulu, which he really started then. But hum? What’s that? New lyrics? Shocked Noooo, German version. ASG That was really funny, especially the “lyrics” (which weren’t really sentences) but it was just too cute. Love 1 So I was almost falling off the stairs at the end of the song because I didn’t want to miss the famous “choreography” but Eero didn’t do it. Crying or Very sad Lauri on the other hand did it like a little rabbit. (Someone’s been away from home for too long… Wink)

After the gig I was trying to find Eero to give him his birthday present since this was the last time I saw him before his birthday. It took quite a while of searching without any success, so when we were just going back to nemi, pitch, beak and the others I suddenly saw someone walking passed me out of the corner of my eyes. Shocked Ponytail Shocked That’s him! This ponytail is really cool but it keeps confusing me every time. Razz I quickly stuck out my present towards him and caused a minor crash halt on his side. So this was the first present I actually managed to give him myself and we even got to chat for a few minutes. He was being really sweet and interested in things we do and telling some things from himself as well. I was a bit embarrassed to admit that I was older than him when he asked me about my age. Embarassed But other than that it was a really cool experience and I was very happy.

A bit later he came by once more and we exchanged another few sentences since he had already opened his present. When we were just chatting with him again the drummer of Deep Insight walked passed us and turned his head pointing towards Eero to say to us “He’s gay.” So I shouted after him “you wish”, which embarrassed him a little and made us laugh. Sorry, I’m so mean, ruining the cool impression he was trying to give.

When Eero was gone, the drummer came back and talked to us for a long time. Somehow he suddenly was very paranoid about us thinking he is actually gay, which was really funny. E.g. when we were talking about the H.I.M. – The Rasmus – Negative tour next year I asked him whether he liked H.I.M. and he looked all weird at pitch and then at us and went “I’m sure he’s really nice, but you know, I was just kidding about that gay-thing.” So we had to laugh even more and confused the poor guy a bit more. “Not him. – H.I.M.” – “Aaahh!!” ASG

That was one fun night! Thank you to everyone I met and especially to Eero, who was very sweet! Huggle (<-- I was wanting to do that when we said good-bye but I didn’t dare to. Embarassed)
